My 87-year-old grandmother has recently moved over here from Denver. She is obsessed with the Denver Broncos and always has been, but now that she’s living nearby, we have to hear about them all the time. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to check the Broncos’ website for game times in recent weeks. Anyway, thank you for this, Jimmy Fallon.

So you probably had to hear about Denver quarterback Tim Tebow, famous for his Christian beliefs. I’m not going to get into that. I will say that Tebow seems like a pleasant young man, but he is not a professional quarterback. He has very poor form, especially throwing the ball. The immense gap distance between him and Tom Brady, (for those readers who care, the gold standard) in last weeks playoff game, was painful to watch.
So your grandmother was probably down about the trashing the Broncos took last week. I don’t get emotionally invested in these things. But I will admit today’s Patriots’ game, against the Ravens, was entertaining and compelling, even though Brady had a very mediocre day.
